3 Unconventional Best Workouts to Lose Belly Fat
Today, I will show you a unique abs workout that does not involve any typical boring stomach exercises such as crunches or situps. For your information, all the exercises that I am going to show you are originated from a book called “Truth about Six Pack Abs”. Instead of those conventional abs routine exercises like crunches, situps, leg lifts and others, we are going to learn a tri-set exercise which is metabolism-boosting high intensity workout that works for the entire body especially for abdominal fat loss.
1. Renegade Rows with Dumbbell
Renegade Rows with Dumbbell can be done with pushup position in the initial pose and holding dumbbell in both hands. When rowing up one dumbbell on one hand, we need to stabilize the body with another arm. Similarly, when bringing down the dumbbell back to the ground and alternate the rowing arm, we need to stabilize with the opposite arm too. The stabilizing workout is the key part for this exercise. We can significantly feel our abs during the whole process. This exercise has been known as one of the best workouts to lose belly fat effectively.
2. Front Squats with Barbell
Front Squats with Barbell has been included as one of the tri-set exercise because of its effectiveness on reducing belly fat. In order to do this, the barbell will be put in front of the body on the front of the shoulders. We will try to stabilize the barbell on our shoulders by crossing the arms and pushing the fists into the bar against our shoulders while keeping our elbows out in front of the body. Then, move up and down slowly while stabilizing the barbell. Similar to the renegade rows, the stabilizing effect is the major factor to loss the belly fat for this exercise. The extreme stabilization strength from the abs will be required because of the barbell weight shifted to the front of the body.
3. Mountain Climbers
Mountain climbers is one of the best workouts to lose belly fat at home. It does not require any equipment to get it done. We can do it by starting in a pushup position and then shuffling our feet in and out so that our knees are moving in under our chest and then back out to the initial position. Why it is called mountain climbers? As we can see, its style is resembles climbing a mountain. For advanced version, we can shuffle our hands 8-10 inches forward and backward in addition to the leg movements. The advanced version of mountain climbers is a full body exercise and tougher than the regular version.
The recommended rep scheme for this tri-set exercise is 3-4 sets of 8 reps for each exercise. Otherwise, you can choose to do more sets for less reps. Mountain climbers can be done with a time interval instead of reps. Do remember, after finishing each exercise, try to rest about 30 seconds before starting the next exercise. And, rest about 2 minutes after finishing each tri-set before repeating it.
The Placebo Effect
The tri-set exercise is really the best workouts to lose belly fat fast. It is better than doing any direct abs exercises as the tri-set exercise is designed with a lot more fat-burning metabolic effect. Mike Geary also shared with us a trick to make any exercise program more effective. It is called Placebo Effect. If we strongly believe in our mind that the workouts that we are doing are the best workouts to lose belly fat, the results will increase significantly from those workouts. So, by the time we workout intensely, we also need to mentally visualize the results that we are going to get for better results.
